Third Update.....Almost Done

Update #3 - They are just about finished up. The surgeons are in the process of closing and cleaning her up. She is still doing great. Completely off the heart/lung bypass, finally after over 4 hours. Heart beat is still a little slow, but would be after everything that has happened. They said if needed, they will start her pacing wires. It will return to normal soon, in a day or so. Opening the pulmonary arteries more on both sides - Complete. Replacing the conduit - Complete. He did this because he had to cut through the current one to get to the arteries to stretch them. He went ahead and gave her a larger one so he does not have to return sooner than later. Patching the hole - Complete. They did an echo which looked good, no leakage around the patch. Overall, it seems everything is going as planned. As far as surgery updates, there will be one more. We will be meeting with the surgeon in the near future for him to cover everything that happened. So we'll let you know as soon as we hear and get a chance. They said that Jenna is doing great and they are very pleased with the surgery outcome at this point. We are so happy that she has done so well.
