Next step...

Posted Apr 12, 2008 10:53pm

Hello everyone,
Just wanted to drop a quick line. All is well, Jenna is now almost 28 inches long and weighs 15lbs. 4 oz. She has had her share of sinus infections and fevers this winter, but heart wise we have been fine. She is now VERY mobile, attempting to take her first step alone, she can walk with assistance. Also, she can say our cat's name now (daisy) and say bye bye to everyone. Also, we celebrated our first b-day, which was a blast. She enjoyed every minute, especially her cake!
I just wanted to let everyone know that we are going to be leaving for Cincinnati on Sunday afternoon. We are having to go up for her 6 month check after surgery. I cannot believe that it has been that long already. Time flies. We will be having an echocardiogram, physical and lung perfusion scan on Monday and will be having a Cardiac Catheterization and Angioplasty on Tuesday morning at 10:30am. These procedures are just to make sure that everything done at surgery in October is working well and to determine her next step of treatment. We are expected to stay at least until Wednesday, if not Thursday. So we will be making a quick road trip out of town. But hopefully for not too long. We will attempt to keep everyone posted while we are out of town. Please keep us in your thoughts, prayers and hearts while we are away. We love everyone and will talk soon.

Love,Jenny, Justin and Jenna
